Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent. This course is designed to involve the student in understanding contemporary arts. It is a thematic-based interdisciplinary study of twentieth and twenty-first century literature, philosophy, and the visual arts. The course focuses on the theme "The Shock of the New."
