Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in WELD 121 or department approval. This course is designed to acquaint the student with materials and equipment used in oxyacetylene and stick welding, heat effects and how to counteract them, safety hazards and their avoidance, the theory of oxyacetylene and stick welding, and techniques practiced in corresponding laboratory courses WELD 121, 122, and 123. One lecture hour per week. (Formerly WLDTR 112)
