Prerequisite: CMCIS 151 with a grade of "C" or better. This course is designed to provide students with classroom and laboratory experience in basic routing and switching essentials. Instruction includes but is not limited to basic switch and router operations, configuration of static routing and dynamic routing protocols, virtual local area network implementations, and various operations that enable communications across a local area network. This course is the second of four courses that assist in the preparation for the CCNA certification by developing skills in core routing and switching technologies for enterprise-level network configurations.
