Prerequisite: Admission to the Medical Office and/or Medical Assistant Program and concurrently enrolled in MEDO 112. This course studies the medical office from a business-administrative standpoint including clerical functions, bookkeeping procedures, professional communications, legal and ethical concepts, operational functions related to safety and emergency procedures, and cultural diversity awareness. One lecture hour and three laboratory hours per week or equivalent.
